GROUND POUND FOR SEEPSTAKES.

If only life was as perfect as that movie-like scene sounds. In reality, the Ground Pounder is such blast to bop around town on, you can't  help but laugh out loud. When someone looks over at you and gives you a thumbs-up you'll either smile like a loon or give them a thumbs-up  right back. Why is it so much fun? Darned if I know. The Ground Pounder certainly isn't comfortable, it is not practical and it really isn't that easy to ride. But to be a threat to a bagger for comfort.
    Besides the "Captain America" and "Billy the Kid" bikes in EASY RIDER, the next most famous rigid bike around is Mickey Rourke's bike from "Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man" ( which was actually an FXR made into a rigid). Well, since we decide on silver for the base color of our Sweepstakes bike, there are constant comparisons drawn between the two. During the time we were putting test mileage on the Pounder, quite a few people came up and asked if it was the movieland bike. Chalk up one more mark in the cool column.
  If you are not up to speed on our sweepstakes, we will give you a quick recap. In june, Ultra Bikers Dream volunteered to build us a special Ground Pounder to give one of our readers. In july, we walked through Ultra's warehouse and picked all the cool parts we wanted on the giveaway bike. In the August issue we watched S&S build the 96ci motor that powers the pounder, and in September, we followed the assembly process of  the rest of the bike. This month, we are going to drive you crazy with
