billet concepts forward controls fit nicely and match the polished S&S powerplant
16-inch rear and a 21-inch spoker up front (direct from the Drag Specialties catalog) wrapped with Avon tires. Stopping power is provided by GMA four-piston calipers, two in front and one for the rear, along with tree GMA drilled rotors. Since the only suspension is the fork, Morrison wanted some-thing tried and true, therefore he chose a set of H-D wide glide forks. It was lowered, the legs turned down two inches and then chrome-plated before tying everything together with Acutronics triple trees. Up top the bars and six-inch risers are from Drag Specialties wit Performance Machine hand controls, Ness grips and mirrors, while the headlight is from Custom Chrome.
Before Morrison had everything painted he assembled the bike and put a few shakedown miles on it, then tore it back down and sent the frame and sheetmetal to Tom Rad, who applied sapplead stunning "Arrest Me Red" paint and graphics accented by pinstriping from Krazy Kolors. All the powdercoating was sent to Best Coat, While Deters
Polishing handled the chrome. During the final assembly, Morrison did everything carefully and paid attention to the smallest details. Even the wiring was hidden and it was run through frame rails and the switches were hidden underneath the seat.
morrison was surprised with the finished chopper as it is very responsive and the hardtail wasn't so bad (except for big potholes). He told us it handles kind of like his Buell, without suspension. And when Bart finally took delivery of his hard tail chopper he was completely satisfied. When we last spoke with Bart, he told us he enjoys this bike so much that his other Harleys haven't been ridden since he took delivery of this hardtail chopper. However, Morrison and Bart have been planning another bike to top this one. From what we've seen, this chopper will be hard to beat!
