Rickie Morrison is a bike builder and he has always taken pride in the fact that his projects are functional as well as appealing So when he sat down with long time custom he asked, "Who would want to ride this bike? "I want a simple, bare bones, big-inch hardtail that's spindly. I want it to be fast as well as low. And I want it to have the look of a chopper from the late 70s with the reliability of an Evo"
Morrison was hesitant to take on a big-inch hardtail project, but Bart's final words were: "You build it Rickie, and I'll ride it. That settles it" with that in mind Rickie accepted the task of putting this bike together.
After hours of planning and drawing sketches they agreed on the plan and got busy ordering everything to complete this bike Rickie convinced Bart that an 80-inch would be more advantageous, because the bike is going to be so light that a big-inch stroker would be overkill. So morrison started with an S&S 80ci Evo and then turned it over to St. Croix added a Sifton cam,Crane ignition, Dyna coils and gave the heads a mild port job. A carefully jetted Del'Orto carb, Rivera air cleaner and Drag Specialties exhaust rounds out the package, while a stock H-D five-speed and H-D primary separated by a Barnett clutch are plentySpecial,Construction,Stillwater
