The Thor is made through the Aurora Machine & Tool Company in Chicago, Illinois. They provided the very first engines for Indian in 1902 after which began their very own line in 1903. The 1200cc motor within this bike was just made until 1915 but Thor put together bikes as much as 1918. Several 1000 were built. Aurora also made home home appliances and previously offered a mixture clothes washer/dishwasher, which most likely led to their eventual demise.
