After the death of Nur Kholis, presumably this idea received enthusiastic
of the fine arts as well as instigators of this motor in Yogyakarta. then
art plan to keep going and will be held on
18 to 23 August 2011, held at the Exhibition Hall Cultural park
Yogyakarta. Acting as curator of this exhibition is (the late) Nur
Kholis, S. Teddy D, Lulut W, and Bram Satya.
This exhibition will be held the works of custom bike
all types and brands of motorcycles, which is certainly the work through
first selection phase. Given the amount of exhibition venues, the
number of motors will be restricted between 40 and 60 motors. In addition,
This exhibition will present works of pure art which have
objects of interest are the motor, and or use the motor as an art medium.
The exhibition is also a form of final award to Mr. Nur
Kholis, an artist who displayed his art in a museum
famous in Japan, he also was a lover of motorcycles at once
chairman of the oldest motorcycle organization in Jogjakarta, and beliulah the
initiated the idea to read that what lovers do
bike to bike is an art movement. yet
fate would. God has called Nur Kholis before his intention
materialized. And for that, the title of this exhibition we have agreed to be THE
TRIBUTE TO ART MOTORCYCLE # NUR Kholis.
